Last year, I made the decision to go a considerable distance from London City to Lincoln. One of my lifelong pleasures has always been travelling, especially to the highlands. I had two options for how to travel to Lincoln. One was that before I explored the town or city I was in, I should take the train and stop at several stations. The options for getting to Lincoln were limited by the fact that I would have to adhere to a precise schedule and depend on train arrivals and departures.

I wanted total freedom, no time or place restrictions, to wander and stop whenever and wherever I liked. Taking a cab from London City Airport to Pontefract Castle was the other option. There would be many stops along the road, and I'd be free to go wherever I wished.

The main reason I was travelling to the highlands was that I enjoy old buildings, especially castles. My parents moved to Hessle, where I currently dwell, from Scotland. I'm proud to be Scottish, but I've never had the chance to travel to the highlands to explore the history of my family who lived there. I discovered that most of the historic buildings and castles have seen in "Game of Thrones" are from Scotland. I adored the show, and it gave me the desire to see these ancient monuments. An acquaintance of mine suggested that I start my tour in London after doing some study. I was prepared to travel to Pontrefact. I had already made a cab reservation with company.

As soon as I landed at the airport, I saw a cab driver waiting in his flat hat with a placard with my name on it. I utilised company to call a cab at the recommendation of a friend from work. When he was supposed to, the driver arrived. He greeted me with a smile. He then took my belongings and put them in the trunk of the automobile. I was moved by his acts and eager to begin my search. I made a cab reservation so that it would drive me from London City Airport to Lincoln so I could see the magnificent castles from the Middle Ages. Despite knowing it would be, the trip had me psyched.

There, we had a meal break. It was coming close to four o'clock and I was feeling hungry, so I decided to have some fish or steak. Immediately in front of Luciano's, the driver stopped. There, we had a full meal to ourselves.

We ate a substantial dinner before continuing our voyage. We arrived at Pontefract castle after a few hours of travel. The driver was courteous and on time. He drove us there on schedule.
